In today’s world, the search for identity can be overwhelming. Countless voices pull us in different directions, urging us to embrace contradicting ideas of what it means to just “be yourself.” But in the midst of this chaos, we’re left wondering: who am I, really?
Join us on October 4, 2025, in our lecture hall for a simulcast of Ligonier Ministries' Always Ready Conference. This youth conference invites Christians ages 12–18 to step away from the noise and turn to God’s Word for clarity about who they are.
We’ll focus on two of Scripture’s foundational truths about identity: our creation in the image of God and our union with Christ. During this full day of biblical teaching and fellowship, we’ll seek to discover something greater than the world’s confusion—real purpose, belonging, and freedom in Christ.
Register today for $25, which includes admission, a welcome bag and lunch. Invite your youth group, family members, and friends to join you! Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.
SCHEDULE:
9:00–9:30 a.m. — Arrival & Registration
9:30–9:45 a.m. — Welcome
9:45–10:05 a.m. — The Image of God: The Foundation of Our Identity by Stephen Nichols. To know who we are, we must start with knowing who God is and the foundational truth that we are all created in His image. This message will explore what this means for our understanding of the beauty, dignity, and sanctity of human life. We’ll also discuss how being image bearers influences our relationships and our life’s purpose.
10:10–10:40 a.m. — Panel Discussion: The Image of God and Sexuality with Bancroft, Bingham, and Nichols. This discussion will tackle the complex topic of sexuality and identity, seeking to bring biblical clarity to the conversation. We’ll explore how our understanding of the image of God informs our views on sexuality, gender, and relationships, and how we can hold fast to these convictions while engaging with others who need the truth.
10:45–11:15 a.m. — Break & Activities
11:20–11:45 a.m. — The Image of God, Technology, and Identity by Nathan W. Bingham. Technology is advancing at a whirlwind pace. How do we respond? This message will examine the implications of social media platforms, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology on our understanding of human identity and our sense of self. We’ll discuss how our biblical worldview shapes our response to these emerging technologies and their impact on our society.
11:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m. — Lunch & Activities
1:05–1:25 p.m. — In Christ Alone by Stephen Nichols. One of the most important questions we can ever ask is, “Who is Christ?” This message dives into the doctrine of the person of Christ, the God-man. We’ll consider the historical and biblical arguments that Christ is unique in all human history and that He alone is the exclusive way of salvation.
1:30–1:50 p.m. — In Christ: Freedom and Forgiveness by Eric Bancroft. The Bible teaches that we are all fallen image bearers because we are all in Adam. We are all guilty, in bondage to sin, and under the wrath of God. The good news of the gospel is that Christ came to save sinners. This message will help us understand that while our culture offers all sorts of promises of freedom, true freedom only comes by, through, and in Christ.
1:50–2:20 p.m. — Snack Break & Activities
2:20–2:45 p.m. — Panel Discussion: In Christ, You Belong with Bancroft, Bingham, and Nichols. When we are in Christ, we are brought into the new community of the church. This panel will explore how our identity is shaped by our belonging to Christ and to one another. These truths encourage us to live out our faith with conviction and confidence, knowing that Christ will build His church.
2:50–3:30 p.m. — Q&A: Got Questions? with Bancroft, Bingham, and Nichols.
This event is hosted by Learning Centre Ontario and Reformed Book Services in partnership with Ligonier Ministries.
