About
Learning Centre Ontario
Learning Centre Ontario is the educational arm of Reformed Book Services, and operates out of the same location at 16 Roy Boulevard, Brantford, Ontario.
Through biblically grounded, Reformed instruction,
we seek to serve the church and community by offering learning opportunities that are both theologically rich and practically relevant – nurturing spiritual growth through engaging courses and events that encourage faithful, fruitful living.
Who Are We?
Learning Centre Ontario is directed by Dr. David VanBrugge and governed by the Education Committee and Board of Directors of Reformed Book Services. The video lectures that are part of our courses are recorded by professors of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in partnership with the Transform@PRTS program. The Learning Centre is also supported by a growing number of other local pastors and elders as mentors and facilitators.

Reformed Book Services is a Canadian charity that aims to glorify God and strengthen His Church through the distribution of Puritan and Reformed literature, as well as through the promotion of Reformed Christian reading, study and education.
The history of Reformed Book Services dates back to the 1970s, when a few concerned church members took it on themselves to make good Puritan and Reformed books available to the churches in Canada. By 2009, there was a need for a brick-and-mortar store so that books could be made available at all times to the public. A non-profit corporation was formed, and a board of 10 directors was established. In 2022, Reformed Book Services became a registered Canadian charity. A year later, its continual growth led to the purchase of its own building at 16 Roy Boulevard in Brantford, Ontario. In 2024, Café 1517 held its Grand Opening at the Brantford location.
